Scavenger Hunt Meeting — November 4, 2008

Rules

 

1.      The competition is open to members of the Waltham Stamp Club and to those who have applied for membership.

2.      The criterion for each item to be located is listed below.  The point value of each criterion is shown in the rightmost column.  Judging will occur at the regular club meeting on November 4, 2008.  The winner will be the contestant who attains the largest number of points.

3.      A Philatelic Prize will be presented to the winner!

4.      Identify each item which you submit as part of your contest entry with your name, the criterion number from the list, and enough of a description to show that it meets the criterion.

5.      Unless otherwise specified, a stamp may be mint or used, on or off cover, or on piece.

6.      “Cover” shall include envelope, card, wrapper, and piece of a package which includes both postage and address.

7.      A given item may be entered to satisfy only a single criterion.  Duplicates may be entered to satisfy distinct criteria.

8.      Any decision by the judge (singular although married) shall be phinal!
